Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 8, 2025

Your privacy is our highest priority. At PeacePad AI, we are committed to protecting your data, your communications, and your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information when you use our platform.

PeacePad AI is a secure, AI-enhanced communication platform designed to help co-parents communicate more effectively and manage parenting responsibilities. You can exchange messages with tone checking, coordinate schedules, document communications, and optionally share with therapists, mediators, or legal representatives — all under strict privacy protocols.

PeacePad AI is currently in Beta testing. During this phase, features may be limited or under development. We do not collect or share any sensitive data with third parties, and this policy will evolve as the platform develops.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve our service:

  • Personal Information:
    • Email address (for login)
    • Optional name or profile data
  • Communication Data:
    • Encrypted messages between co-parents
    • Custody schedule information
    • Document uploads (if applicable)
    • Timestamps
  • AI-Processed Data:
    • Emotional tone labels generated from your communications
    • AI-generated suggestions for improved communication. (Stored optionally)
  • Usage & Device Data:
    • Basic browser/device type, session duration, and interactions (used for UX improvement)
    • IP address (only for security and session management)

We do not access your microphone, camera, or contacts without your explicit permission.

During Beta testing, we may collect additional anonymous feedback about feature usage and performance to improve the platform.

2. How We Protect Your Data

We take your data security seriously and are building our platform with these protections in mind:

  • Encryption for all communications and schedule data
  • Role-based access controls to restrict what information can be seen by different users
  • Secure authentication systems to protect account access
  • Privacy-focused architecture designed with relevant regulations in mind
  • Data hosting in privacy-compliant regions

During our Beta testing phase, our security infrastructure is actively being developed and refined. We recommend additional caution with sensitive information during this period.

No PeacePad staff, contractor, or AI partner can access your private communications unless explicitly shared by you or required by law.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

Your communications remain private and encrypted unless you choose to share them.

  • When you share communications with a therapist, mediator, or legal representative, only the specific content you select is made available to them.
  • You may delete your account or any communication at any time.
  • Upon deletion, your data is purged from our active systems within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
  • During Beta testing, we may analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve the platform.
  • We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Nevertheless, complete security cannot be guaranteed for internet transmission or electronic storage.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., U.S., EU), you may:

• Access a copy of your data

• Correct inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your account

• Withdraw consent at any time

6. Co-Parenting & Child privacy

We understand the sensitive nature of co-parenting communications, which may include information about children. We treat such information with the utmost care:

  • Information about children shared between co-parents is protected with the same security measures as all platform data.
  • We do not use information about children for any purpose other than providing our service.
  • In case of legal proceedings involving children, we only disclose information when legally required.
  • We recommend that co-parents exercise discretion when sharing sensitive information about children through any digital platform, including PeacePad.

7. Children's Privacy

PeacePad AI is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor is using our service, contact us for immediate removal.

8. Beta Testing Privacy Considerations

As PeacePad is currently in Beta testing:

  • We may collect additional feedback and usage data to improve the platform.
  • Security features are being actively developed and enhanced.
  • We recommend not relying solely on PeacePad for storing critically sensitive communications without maintaining separate records during this phase.
  • This Privacy Policy will be updated as features develop and before full public release.
  • Beta testers will be notified of significant Privacy Policy changes affecting data handling.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our features evolve. If changes are significant, you will be notified via email or in-app notice.
